Wine for Dudes Wine Tours Margaret River raises $6112.50 with PINK BUBBLES DAY for The National Breast Cancer Foundation!
The prominent red ‘Dudes’ logo turned shades of pink for an all ‘ladies tour’ called the PINK BUBBLES DAY held on Sunday 29th June 2008.
What started as an innovative conversation between friends, quickly evolved into an opportunity to raise some funds for an important charity. Being an all girls tour, the pink theme came to mind and the NBCF.
John, donated his time at the helm of the wheel and provided his Carbon Neutral buses for the day.
The itinerary floated along visiting cellar doors popular for the beloved ‘bubbles’, stopping for lunch along the way.
A raffle of an array of donated prizes from local businesses, helped to make the most out of the day and to raise as much money as possible.
Wine for Dudes Wine Tours Margaret River have supported many charities and sponsorships and volunteered their time and resources to many community events.
To name but a few...
Leukaemia, Red Kite, World Vision, Whale Dreamers, Movember, Margaret River Classic Surf Competition, Margaret River Fun Run, Margaret River Wine Festival, Save the Yarragadee Aquifier Rally, local schools and community groups.
